Fiber Arts Guild Sew Day

The St. James Cathedral Fabric Arts Guild has begun holding “Sew Days” on each Wednesday and fourth Saturday of each month.

Sessions will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.The Fabric Arts Guild is a comparatively new ministry under the aegis of the Arts Commission. Participants are involved in a number of projects including the cathedral’s Quilt Ministry.

No skills are required–only a working sewing machine. The Guild has a cadre of mentors who love to help and are gentle teachers.  We have been working on receiving blankets and quilts but will be adding bowl cozies,  placemats, and other small projects.
