Since their beginnings, Christians have followed their Jewish forebears’ tradition of praying at set times through the day. For Christians, this practice is known as the “daily office”. Many Christians find this a deeply meaningful experience as they pray in this ancient way with other Christians around the world. Morning and evening prayer services each feature psalms, one or two Bible readings and prayers.
Many Christians pray daily office as a part of their personal prayer time at home.
